Saint Brother Albert did not write treatises... He simply showed how people should perform acts of mercy. He showed that the one who truly wants to be compassionate, merciful and to fulfill acts to charity, must become a gracious, unselfish gift for the other person. To serve the other, your neighbour, means, according to his words, to give oneself, to be as good as bread.
